I babysat this little guy, Paulo (14 months) and decided to do some shots in my living room to share with his mommy. The lighting in the living room was just right, nice and mild.

Headshots

I've known this little guy since he was born. Ok he's not so little anymore. He just turned 11 on St. Patty's Day! This kid is going places, he's always had that raw talent and I look forward to what the future brings to our "not so little" Jordan. I decided headshots were in order on my trip up to Seattle. This was my first time doing headshots and a great learning experience for me. I wished he lived in California so I can keep practicing. Jordan was definitely game for this and the camera loves him.

Iron Gate

I had the opportunity to shoot at the Iron Gate for an 80th birthday (note to self, I want my birthday here). I'm still going through the other photos but I wanted to share some of the food. If you haven't had a chance to eat there then add this to your bucket list. I can't believe I've known about this place and never eaten there. It's pricey and worth every penny!

I couldn't tell you what this appetizer is, I was too busy shooting to grab one :)

Sunflower seeds at a really nice touch to a salad. I wish I could have arranged this food so you can see the cucumber better, etc...

Raspberry sorbet cleansed our palette in between the salad and the entree and it sure was a nice touch.

This is what I had, the NY steak with allllll of the yummy butter and garlic. I'm a potato girl and wished there were more.

This was the salmon and looked fantastic!

Swimsuit issue

I was nervous. Rain. Shooting in the rain. How on earth are were we going to do swimsuit shots ON the beach IN the rain? I crossed fingers as I heard the news say it was going to be sunny. Saturday night rolls around and it is still pouring rain. BUT I woke up Sunday morning to blue skies. It was incredible. Montara Beach felt like Hawaii. Then I started to worry about how do I do this. Do I pose her? Will she pose on her own? How do I make them look sexy without going over board. I asked my model to pick her favorite pictures so I could put them on my blog. I felt it was important for her to choose them since some of them are sexy pictures.
