Beach time

I find it difficult at times to take pictures of other people with my 300mm lense while trying not to look like a PI of some sort. How in the world do I look inconspicuous, not possible. I think I got a look from someone that caught me taking pics. Really....I'm not creepy, just lookin' for a fun shot that I can manipulate later with color and shading.

My husband, preparing his board to surf, at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica. The waters weren't great for surfing but it was a great way to let go of some steam from the stressors of the week. I'm not a swimmer so watching him on the water intrigues me, excites me and makes me completely nervous. I wanted to use this time to bring out my digital slr and get some experience with movement and nature all in one. I enjoy taking pictures and attempting to capture moments. Learn from what I have done wrong and what I have done right and see how I can improve on my own.
